I was wondering that if i switch to EE right now leaving my other provider, will my mobile data work even before my new sim card comes

Welcome to the community.

Are you looking to port your number to EE from your current provider?

I would check with your provider as your SIM does not usually stop working until the number port begins, once you receive your EE SIM you can use this straight away as it will come with a temporary number till your number port completes.

Im going to swap to EE from giffgaff but im going to keep my old phone number , but i was just wondering if i enter my pac number in to become a EE member with the deal , will my data work straight after i pay for it and enter the pac or will i have to wait until the sim arrives

Hi @Njay38.

I believe your old SIM will work until the number port begins, this all depends on the time you submit order/form.

Please check with your provider on their policy.
