Gifting data problem

I can’t gift data to my daughter. I have unlimited data. It keeps saying gifting error! Any ideas?

Are both phones on the same account?

Are you gifting at the beginning of the month or towards the end of the month?

If you have a 5g router with unlimited data plan then you can't gift from the router we were sold two 250mbs mobile phone sims and told we could gift data but found out after we used nearly all the data on one mobile we can't gift from router, this was confirmed by customer care. They offered us a new plan with a different sim but the sim's speed is capped and we would have to buy a new router. As this router works well we didn't want to change our contract so we are stuck with the 250 mb sim cards and can only top up with cash
