It could be related to &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/billing-usage-and-top-up/track-and-manage-your-usage/how-do-i-set-up-and-manage-spend-cap" target="_blank"&gt;Spend Cap&lt;/A&gt; which is about chargeable activity, not data usage.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Hi, it says&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"As you have a Spend Cap we've now barred some chargeable services,&lt;BR /&gt;including using your phone abroad. To increase it, you can log into MyEE or&lt;BR /&gt;text SPEND CAP to 150. If you're not the account holder, they'll need to&lt;BR /&gt;change it in MyEE or call 150 on your behalf"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Janet</description>

&lt;P&gt;It sounds like you've done something that has incurred a charge that has triggered the spend cap. What is your spend cap currently set as?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Spend cap set at zero over monthly bill. Thought it might have been call to&lt;BR /&gt;Isle of Man which said it was an international call but bill for calls is&lt;BR /&gt;£0, so don't know why I received the message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for your help anyway.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Janet</description>
