Gifting Data when Abroad

Hi, in the UK I am able to gift data between my accounts. I am currently abroad and am trying to gift data between two of my accounts both of which are in the UK (I'm not) and don't seem to be able to through either the app or logging in. Any ideas??

Where are you? If you're in a country where you can't use your UK allowances, you can't gift data either.

Hi there, well I'm in the Seychelles, but using local wifi. I could buy roaming but it's working quite well albeit very slowly. Anyway, finally after the umpteenth time of trying I have managed to gift data using my computer rather than my phone back in the UK. So all resolved! Thank you though for getting back to me with an update and for giving me the phone number although thankfully I won't need to use it. I don't think it's possible to contact ee via email? Thanks again.

Once your allowances refresh you will no longer be able to gift data from there.
