Hi. I am abroad and my calls have been barred. I am only using wifi calling, my roaming is off. Please advise.
currently in Barbados.

Are roaming and international calls both active in your My EE Account?

I have turned my roaming off, so only using WiFi calling and WhatsApp which I thought was free. Don’t understand why my calls are now barred and they were alright before.

@Straker01 EEs Wi-Fi calling service only works in the UK for when you have poor to no signal, it’s not a means to not pay for chargeable calls. You are roaming so any charges for calls you make even if you get Wi-Fi calling to work will be classified as a roaming call so chargeable. You need roaming enabled on your account so you have a working cellular connection and your calls/text will be charged.

WhatsApp calls are a different service as WhatsApp uses data be that Wi-Fi or cellular.
