Data sharing between my Apple Watch and IPhone

Why is it as a family we can share data across our phones, yet my Apple Watch which in the same contract - isn’t permitted to share data! I have 10mb for my watch and it doesn’t allow me to share that with my phone!!! Very frustrating! Or am I doing something wrong??

@Alamos the watch and phone are on the same account they are not on the same contract they each have their own contract and own allowances And EEs data gifting is what that want it to be it’s their rules so it’s their T&Cs on data gifting and at present their rules say you can not gift data from/to a watch tariff.

This does seem crazy, it seems so unlikely that I will use the data on my watch and it seems sensible that it would be shared across to my phone 😞
