Wifi Multi-Device Dongle not picking up wifi printer.

Moved home and needed a temporary internet access wifi dongle. EE is the strongest signal where I moved to. The multi-device dongle works well and has connected with all my devices (TV, Alexa, laptop) but won't connect to my Brother wifi printer. I have been through every troubleshooting and connecting help with the printer without success. I think it may be something to do with the EE dongle rather than the Brother DCP-J1 printer, but I'm not tech savvy enough to say it with certainty. The printer worked fine before on Opus router broadband. Help would be appreciated.

Some older models need to connect to 2.4 GHz, so you would have to go down the compatibility route.,

Managed to resolve this much easier by using my mobile and the printer setup process. I think it was a problem that couldn't be resolved via the laptop connection, for whatever reason. Anyway, all working now.

My next issue is updating the dongle to unlimited wifi. Currently have 60Gb sim inside the dongle, but this is disappearing fast. Only had it a week and it's down to 30Gb. I know I need to sign up for the 24 month contract, which is fine. I don't know whether I can upgrade the dongle SIM I already have, or whether I need to order a new SIM to put in the dongle - and therefore presumably having to reconnect devices again.

For your existing SIM, Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

If you did buy a new SIM you wouldn't need to reconnect devices again as the settings are on the router not the SIM.
