Connecting TP Link MIFI

Hi, I've just purchased a TP Link MIFI and purchased a payg EE sim card... Inserted the sim and sent a VO plus 16 digit code from my Giff Gaff sim but can't get connected as it says I have no credit... Should I have sent the 16 digit code from the TP Link MIFI unit using the ee sim?

It says I have no data now with the word "Waiting" in my account, surely it shouldn't take all day to connect my sim?

Anyone else had a similar issue

You can't send the VO text from a non-EE SIM. It would be ignored or bounced. It must be sent from the SIM that wants the credit.

Hi XRaySpex thanks for that and I did wonder if that was the case... I eventually had to put the ee sim in my phone, send the text and then remove and replace the sim into my MIFI unit... Thanks 👍
