Hello,

My is Dennis, I am struggling with the issue below

I have a mobile broadband from EE. Then I setup an SSH and HTTP server. With another mobile broadband provider it works without any hassle. How can I do the same here, as I prefer EE.

I don't have an EE mobile router. It is a PAYG Sim only deal. So I use A TP-Link router (or modem) in which I use the sim card. With Thee, it works out of the box, but with EE it does not And I did setup port forwarding, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there anything I might have missed?

How are you attempting to access the HTTP / SSH? From the LAN or WAN? Are you using DDNS? Or just trying to access your public IP? What IP does your router say you've been allocated? Does it match the public IP you present? I'm not sure if EE Mobile uses CGNAT, but if they do then your presented IPv4 IP won't be accessible, but your IPv6 one may be.

@DarrenDev : EE mobile network does employ CGNET.

@Dionys : You are finding yourself up against a limitation of EE's mobile network. The EE mobile network uses Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) resulting in a double NAT, which games consoles often object to, which means you don't get your own public IP address but share it with other users. So you can't be uniquely id'ed on the Net & therefore your LAN cannot be addressed from outside for unsolicited accesses. This is unlike fixed BB.

If this occurs there is nowt you can do to avoid it.

OK, so port forwarding IPv4 wouldn't work. IPv6 might, but would need suitable DDNS.
