Hi folks,

I have the 5g (NR5103) router. Speeds are okay most of the time but testing with my phone outside I'm getting around 10-20 mbps higher. (Using 3 speed test websites I'm getting 45-90 inside and 55 -108 outside).

My question is. I can fit an antenna in 2 locations. First gets perfect line of sight but all my connections will be via WiFi. Second location very nearly has line of sight and I can use the 2 ethernet sockets as it'll sit behind my TV but the usual supplied 5m cable might not be long enough, I'd need 1-2m extensions.

Which would be the recommended location or will there be nothing in it really. (Speeds on my phone at both locations are near enough the same)

Another option could be to get the newer hh20c router which I believe doesn't require an external antenna.

I was thinking on this antenna - Panorama DWMM4-6-60-5SP 4X4 MiMo 4G/5G High Gain Omni-Directional Antenna With 4x 5m Cables & 4x TS9 Adapters

TIA

Kev.
