I have had this problem for 8-9 months now , my phone is EE and gets mega fast speed but the £50 something a month WiFi is constantly dropping out, it started doing it at night 22:35 every night and now just does it whenever it feels like it,I’ve moved it and reset it, yet I still have to keep resetting it ……. Down load speed is 33-68 upload 3-9 it’s absolutely crap and I’m sick of it now

I have a Smart Hub 4g …….. to make it worse the EE takes forever to do what you want and won’t let me run a speed test on the Hub signal

Hi @Alexjohnwebster,

Welcome to the EE Community

It sounds like its not a local network issue if your EE phone in the same place is getting good speeds and no dropouts that you notice.

It might be worth doing a SIM swap between your phone and the router to help see if the issue follows the SIM or router to give you more of an idea of the cause. If you have fully factory reset the device already it sounds like you have done everything with the router you could.

I would also recommend reporting the issue to our technical team so they can take a look over your account to help identify any issues.

Alex
