Are you able to identify any eNB/gNB? Or specific carriers (EARFCN) that you're using?

My 5G router keeps losing internet, and when it reconnects it drops down to 4G. To get 5G back I have to switch between antennas, and this happens every few days or even daily. On one antenna I get a signal of around -94, and on the other -96/-97. It looks like the network is kicking me off one mast and assigning me to another.

The antenna is mounted in an open space. Previously, when the router was on a window using the internal antennas, I had 5G with about -96 signal. But something changed and it started falling back to 4G. In the meantime, I moved the router and bought an external antenna, which worked fine at first (5G, 4 bars), but after a few days it dropped back to 4G again.

I should add that once switching back from the external to the internal antenna brought 5G back, but the same pattern keeps repeating.

It sounds like you have tried a few things already so I'd recommend speaking to our technical team so they can investigate this.

Lesley
