Hi everyone can someone explain please, i have a 4g wifi for my home broadband as i stay in a rural community, i wish to upgrade this to a 5g wifi for my home. would this be a new contract or just a straight swap of mini router. any info would be appreciated.

If you intend to get a 5G mobile router from EE & you are out of min. term with the 4G mobile router you should do an Upgrade on your current no. & a/c. That will replace your current contract with the new 1, keeping you mobile no.

Thank you for your reply, i am in a current contract with 1 year remaining, but do not want another 24 month contract but would like an upgrade to a 5g mifi router, i was wondering if this was possible.

Then you'll need to pay Early Termination Fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.
