Hello. I was wondering if anyone could help me with something. I have recently been out of a job for a while and unable to pay for my phone bills. I have been given a final bill and that has been paid. I’m unsure whether or not my sim will start working again or not as I’ve paid the bill back fully

It should be unsuspended within 24 hours, usually 2.

Hi @Cbrown1202,

Welcome to the EE Community

If the bill you have received says it is the final bill, that would suggest your account has actually been cancelled rather than just suspended.

How was it you made payment for the bill, was it to a debt collection agency we had referred you to for example, or did you just pay on our website and have not spoken to anyone yet?

If it was with an agency they would usually advise you if the account would be restored at the time of payment, but it can take a few days for payments to reach us.

If you have made payment to us directly without speaking to anyone yet, please call us if you want the SIM to be restored.

If it has been cancelled rather than just suspended, payment wont automatically uncancel the account. You would need to speak to one of our guides to check if they can restore it.

Alex
