Hello,

I've using GL-X3000 router with 5G EE sim.

My connection is fine in online games, but is very choppy in browsing web pages. Connection will be fine for a moment, then it will hang for 10-20 seconds, then fine again. When gaming, it is stable for hours. Same behaviour over WIFI on the phone/tv

Things I've tried:

- Blocking 5G and using LTE on router

- Restarting router

- factory resetting router

- Clearing DNS and other CMD commands

https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Broadband/Fix-for-5GEE-WiFi-Hub-IPv6-internet-issues-over-ethernet-Solved/m-p/1052158

This post was recommending to force IPv4, GL-X3000 is IPv4 by default, IPv6 is turned off.

Good morning @Hiro1234.

Welcome to the Community 😊

Have you had a chance to try your SIM in a different device such as a phone?

We'd not expect general browsing to be affected in such a way, but it would be good to see if the issue follows the device or SIM.

They can often remotely access the router to check the logs and see what is causing it to drop out.

Ali
