Hello,

I just got the 4G EE WIFI mini today. However the issue I have is that the device seems to be locked to a 2.4GHz WIFI signal. Is there some form of external Arial for the sim card I could use to get a better WIFI signal frequency or would it be a different device provided by EE. Alternatively is none of the above is possible, would I be able to somehow connect the device to my router and use that for a 5GHz throughput on WIFI signal.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Then in the WiFi section you may switch between the 2.4 & 5 GHz bands.
