I have just signed up to an unlimited data sim which I am using in a TP-link 5g router. I am trialling this as an alternative to my wired broadband as where I live I can only get 30 MBs whereas this is consistently giving me 300-400. However I am concerned about the fair usage policy as I am already using an average of 20GB per day without even trying so fully expect to breach the 600GB limit. Last night a single hour of streaming on Apple TV used 10GB.
Does anyone have experience of what happens when you breach the 600GB. There are only two of us in the house and we both work from home at least half the week. I can’t afford to lose my connection

You might be traffic managed. Some mobile BB plans with infinite data have a FUP of 1000 GB.

Unfortunately they can throttle the speed. I know this is an EE forum so I really shouldn't say this, but it might be worth looking at other providers who do offer completely unrestricted unlimited sims like 3UK, or going for a proper EE mobile broadband package which as mentioned has the higher fair usage policy.

Could always try keeping both connections. I don't know how tech savvy you are but you could try and use networking hardware to split traffic between the two lines. Might also be worth moving your Apple TV over to the fixed line as 30mbts is fine for most streaming, albeit can be a bit frustrating
