4 G wifi connected but no Internet

It worked on my laptop but will not connect to the Internet on my Android phone. Any idea why and more importantly how to solve this?? I had just purchased data for it and cannot use it

I have a OnePlus 6. I had no issues last year when I used it but now it simply will not work

Does your phone connect to the internet.

Have you tried forgetting the connection on your laptop and connecting fresh.
