Mobile Broadband VPN not working

Hi All,

I have just joined EE Sim unlimited broadband with a TP-Link NX510V 5G+, very fast speeds 60mbs + and i use a VPN connection to my works Server 2022. EE is blocking this maybe cause of cgnat.

lots of posts but no answers, deffo EE as works fine as hotspot over Vodafone.

EE do you know why and what i can do please.

Welcome to the community.

Our mobile network does use CGNAT, but I'm not sure if that is what is causing the issue. I recommend getting in touch with your VPN provider or your workplace's technical support. They may be able to offer some troubleshooting steps to get it working.

Thanks Chris,

I am the IT support technician that's runs the server and it is 100% the EE network that is blocking ports used for VPN connections.

Do have a different APN i can us at all.

Try changing the IP Type to IPV4 only, in the admin settings. Usually housed in the same location as the APN Settings on EE Routers. Location may vary on the above unit as it is Third Party and im not familiar with it.
