topic I only want it the 4g hub for 30 days in Mobile Broadband

So we’re moving house and need to wait for the fibre installation. So to bridge the gap we’ve got one of the 4g mobile hubs as we saw it is a 30 day contract. I got it today and now I read that to cancel I have to huge 30 days’ notice (?!). I don’t really understand this as it’s a 30 day contract.

anyway, do I need to just cancel this right away then or is being charged for two months just unavoidable?

is there an easy way to cancel?

FYI you have a short time after posting to edit, negating the need for multiple short replies.

What you are describing is a 30day pay-monthly contract, where you need to give that 30days notice to cancel regardless of duration, but you have no minimum term. The minimum term is sometimes called a "minimum commitment period" and is often confused with contract length.

Mobile contracts in the UK are never fixed-term ones that automatically end on a particular date. If you want to cancel the service in 31 days time say, then you should give 30days cancellation notice tomorrow. A pre-payment based "Pay as you go" is a bit more like, what sounds like you were expecting.
