topic Wi-fi connection of 4g Wifi dongle drops randomly and only has 1 bar in Mobile Broadband

I'm new with EE, recently got a "pay monthly" contract on 4g Wifi dongle. I've checked EE coverage-website and had to take 4g as it was stating that 4g coverage in my area was excellent and 5g was good to week indoors. My post code is TS20 ***.
The issue is that from the moment i've got the dongle and set it up the setting in dongle's Ui display 1 Bar connection 24/7. I ignored it as the speed was still bearable but it looks incorrect as the "Excellent connection" is promised by coverage website.

The issue is that since the winds 3 days ago, the connection now randomly drops every 15-20 minutes, completely losing internet access. I've tried a restart a couple of times and it has no affect. And even in times when connections is avaialble the speed is now unbearable slow, 1-2mbs.

Could anyone suggest any other actions i could perform or next steps i should follow debugging this issue?

[MOD EDIT - removed full postcode from the forum]

Hi @veryrare104

Welcome to our community.

Thanks for reaching out about this, it does sound like the winds may have affected your area if you have noticed a drop in service since. When you check your postcode online, are you looking at the expected coverage or here Service Status Checker as this should tell you of any issues going on currently.

Lesley
