How to setup Tp-link Archer NX200?

Hello,

I recently acquired a new TP-Link Archer NX200 router. I am also an EE customer with an existing contract. I decided to switch to the TP-Link router because the EE Smart Hub does not offer the option of connecting an external antenna, which I need.

However, I am now facing an issue. When using the TP-Link router, I have internet access, but only on certain devices. All phones and TVs that are connected to the router's Wi-Fi network display a message saying "Connected without internet." On my PC, I can access the internet, but only through the web browser—applications like Steam, Game Pass, and similar services are unable to connect.

Could you please provide assistance in resolving this problem?

P.S. When using a Vod**one card, everything works as it should.

On your PC, if you can use browser successfully, then you should be able to use any other app. They will be doing the same sort of thing as regards connection to Net. However Contact Lock might block you from adult sites but it should tell you..

But something causes not everything on my PC to have access to the Internet. And what about other devices? Why can't they access the internet? (TV, smartphones)

You probably need to temporarily switch the mobile router to the 2.4 GHz WiFi band only. These smart home devices often can't do 5 GHz.

I spent an entire evening trying to make this router work with an EE Sim. Ultimately, I did find the solution. Long story short, this router does not play nicely with IPV6 used by EE. Setting up a profile that limits the Router to IPV4 resolves the issue. The solution can be found on the TP Link community page linked below.

Very helpful. This also fixed a problem I was having with Yoto player not joining the WiFi. I was thinking it was to do with WiFi 6 but turns out Yoto registration on your WiFi requires connectivity to the Yoto systems which also won't like IPv6. Thank you for the solution!
