Dongle help

I have an EE dongle/mobile broadband device bought 2/3 years ago when we moved house. I am trying to use it now but it won't turn on. When it is connected to power, all the lights flash blue then go off. I can't get it to turn on or see the wifi connection in my list. Any ideas?

The battery is flat or needs charging up for hours.

I've had it on charge for 24 hours now and it still won't turn on! any suggestions please?!

It evidently needs a new battery if replaceable or device if not.
