How to configure my 4G router?

Hi all,

I've recently started having random connectivity issues with my Sierra Wireless 4G router, and would appreciate some help with how to configure it to reliably connect to EE's 4G service. The interface provides the following options:

Network Authentication Mode: PAP
Network Username: eesecure
Network Password: secure

Thanks. That's weird because I've been using this for years without setting an APN or user credentials; when the router connects (which it did just now, without me having changed anything) its says "APN in use: general.t-mobile.uk" 😕 I'll try setting the user credentials and see if that improves things.

Edit: What about all the other settings, do I just leave them as is, or can I improve things by changing them?

I set "APN override" to "everywhere" and added the PAP user credentials; after rebooting the router now says "APN in use: everywhere".

It works, but as I said the router reconnected by itself just as I was posting, and before I had changed the APN & credentials (showing "APN in use: general.t-mobile.uk"). So I can't tell if these settings made any difference!

Still "no service" 24 hours later.

I'm sorry to hear that you're still getting no service after 24 hours @EError

I'd recommend giving us a call on 150 from an EE phone or 03301 231 105 from any other phone, then our technical support team can get this looked into a bit closer for you.
