I topped up my ee mobile wifi device ready for my vacation in Cumbria before leaving home. I have arrived at my holiday home and have had no service now for over 48 hours. The postcode is CA19 area. Can you please advise what the situation is, when it might be resolved and whether any refund is offered in this situation where I purchased this purely to use for my 4 day holiday? Sue ***********

The best place to check for/on known network issues is the "check status" tab on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker

No operator proactively offers credits for loss-of-service, 100% uptime is never guaranteed with any network. You can always discuss your specific circumstances by contacting CS on 150.

Thank you for your reply, I did check and having been doing so for 48 hours and just get we cannot check your area as below, which isn't very helpful. I was hoping someone from EE Customer services might respond or there may be an alternative. btw it isn't a mobile phone it is a WIFI mobile Router.

Mobile phones and mobile routers use the exact same network signal. The only difference is what they do with it.

A phone can turn that mobile data signal into a local WiFi-hotspot in addition to using it for internal internet-functions or voice calls. A mobile router simply replicates the hotspot function.

Do you get the same error with different browsers or devices?
