Forget wifi key

Hello, I forgot the wifi key and unfortunately I scratched the password from the back door of the modem and I can't figure out what it is. Now I want to enter the modem settings, I don't know what password to enter, please help.Wifi key erased

@Morfinsix : I think you could be in trouble. To get at the WiFi Key you would need the admin pwd, which I believe would be printed on that label below the WiFi Key.

You could try logging in to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" (as a hope). Then on the WiFi Settings tab you should be able to see your WiFi password in clear & change it if you like.

Unfortunately, admin user and password are not working. Do you have the contact number of skype or telegram or the support email of the company so that I can call and request the wifi key from them with the imei and details on the modem?

No, I only have the Freephone no. of EE which you'll find in my sig. & which you can use free over Skype. I know nowt of these other firms or what they have to do with your router

I don't know what to do anymore, now my modem is a piece of work that I have to throw away, no one is responsible. With this situation, I will never go to EE again and I will not buy their products.

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

You don't call me! I'm just a user like you.

EE may be called by phone. Skype is just a way of making calls over the Net. No others I'm aware of.
