4g dongle not working

I have a 4g dongle thing. I can't get broadband. But I was ensured that 5g was coming and signal would be great.

However netflix will not work on my hisense TV

Zoom will not work on my work laptop. Nor with the VPN

The tech team spent too long talking rather than listening. They didn't want to help. Apparently I'm stuck in this contract that doesnt work.

Is there a solution to this? Or do I must give up?

Felling frustrated and very mugged off by EE and their lack of support.

Are you able to run a speed test on one of your mobile devices that are connected to the router? What is the upload and download speed like?

650mbps speed on my phone

I also called again. They've reset my settings and apparently removed content control....although that doesn't appear to have been removed.

Can you watch Netflix on your phone when connected to the mobile broadband router?

Works ok in my phone.

If someone can tell me how to get the hisense TV to accept the ee mifi and my laptop / zoom. Happy to try editing settings if you have solution.

5G coming or has come won't benefit you as your router will only do 4G.

Have you selected the router's WiFi network from your devices' list of WiFi networks seen & supplied its WiFi pwd?

Hi,

Regardless of whether or not I have 5g. The 4g mifi hardly work.

My O2 SIM has got netflix working today and that has less signal than EE. So this is down to the settings of the EE mifi.. I just don't understand what's causing it to block zoom and netflix.....?

Are you able to try the EE SIM card from the router in a mobile device to see if this connects to the TV, and Netflix and Zoom work for you?

Hi Leanne,

Ee sim can hotspot and work absolutely fine from my phone. But still does not work from the miFi device
