5G Smart Hub in bridge mode?

Can the currently shipping 5G Smart Hub be used in bridge mode? I want to be able to connect a separate router to the hub using an ethernet cable, and use the smart hub purely to provide a broadband connection. I don't need its Wi-Fi capability, and want to avoid double NAT issues. All my devices will connect to the separate router, which will provide DHCP addresses, and my mesh WiFi network will also be connected to the router.

Is this possible?

I don't think it can be used in bridge mode, but I'm going to reach out to our devices team to double check.

To reply to my own question for the benefit of future travellers, I went ahead and ordered a 5G Smart Hub. There is a setting to enable or disable Passthrough, under the Advanced settings.

Enabling it does exactly what I want. It disables the inbuilt WiFi, and all other functions, giving a WAN IP Address to my external router via the WAN/LAN ethernet port.

I've noticed that when the blue light indicates 5g over the green for 4g the web interface says its still only 4g.

Also: if you switch off 2.4g wifi , it will automatically turn off the 5g wifi , even though the interface indicates the 5g is on. Hopefully a firmware update will fix these glitches.
