How do I reactivate a mobile network dongle that I have not used for about 4 years

If the dongle was on PAYG, the hibernation policy completely disconnects an unused device after 9months.

If a dongle is on pay-monthly, it remains live for as long as the monthly bills are paid. If bills go unpaid, they fall into the collections process.

Hi bristolian. Thanks for the info. It was PAYG and I stopped using it
about 4 years ago so definitely hibernated and no bills outstanding. All
paperwork from 2017 lost. Would like to wake it up to use at a caravan. Do
I need to pop in to EE or can I do it online? Any clues would be great.

If the SIM has not been used in over 4 years the number would have been recycled and lost.

You can order a new SIM card online or in an EE Store.
