I have been using a 4G PAYG WiFi router for the last few months. A few days ago I lost the wifi at the house and now cannot find the 4G wifi network name when I try to reconnect from the list of available wifi. There has appeared an wifi connection with the name "EE WiFi" but this does not allow connection to the internet with paying for a package.

I have reset the router on numerous occasions and checked the EE wifi service in the area which is stated to be excellent. I have tried to connect directly to the router using the web UI http://192.168.1.1 but as I cannot find the wifi connection this does not work.

Any ideas what can be done ?

Can you plug it via USB into a PC? Then you can activate its EE Web Connection as a quasi-Ethernet.
