Hi

I bought a Huawei Mobile Broadband device - that was linked to EE. I didn't buy it from EE directly but from ARGOS in lockdown in 2020. I bought a 12 month data only contract to follow on from the initial data that came with with the device. That contract ended in 2021. I'm now looking at trying to find the most cost effective data only plan which may or may not be EE. However, I'm not sure if the device is locked to EE or if it's possible to use another provider - if I need to. The device I bought was a Huawei - E5330-AFFB: EE 3G Mobile 2GB Mi-Fi.

If it is locked - I would like to unlock it. Or if it's now out of date, it may be I need to cut my losses and look for something else.

Thanks
