I have just bought a data only sim for a 4g WiFi router for my campervan. I have set it up so I can use it but can’t seem to add to to EE so I can see how much data I have left. How can I view online what is left please. Thanks

Are you adding it by Linking a Mobile, rather than Linking EE Broadband?

When I try to add it by Linking EE Broadband, it asks for an account number which I don’t have.

Well, don't link it as EE Broadband, link it as a mobile.

In your online MyEE: Home > Plans & Subs > Manage numbers > Add another number > Link EE mobile or SIM.
