Recently swapped the 5G Snart Hub to a Deco X80 as the smart hub and mesh network had persistent problems

what I now experience is no 5G connection and a full 4G despite the router being in the same place where the smart 5G hub was receiving the strongest 5G signal. Is this a EE issue preventing third party devices or something else ? Can anyone help?

I’ve have done this and set another profile but yield the same result.

its almost like it’s blocked by the carrier forcing it to a 4G connection
