I believe that's the power button. Is that light on when the device it turned on and off?

Hi,

it is currently on all the time and my wifi connection is appalling. I’ve had it for a week and this only started yesterday. I need the connection to be able to work from home (& watch tv !)

Is the WiFi router connected and working with any device?

If not, have you restarted the router?
