5g NR5103 Router - Unlocked branded 5GEE

Hi, I have a NR5103 with is 5GEE branded, but unlocked. I can use with other networks, but would like ot put the firmware to the standard Zyxel. How can I install the firmware? There is no option in th 5GEE settings to allow me to select a firmware version - it only allows online download of the 5GEE versions

You cannot as the software/hardware is designed for EE.

If unlocked you should be able to use another sim but the software will be EE.

You could always try contacting Zyxel and they might be able to help.

practically nothing can be done with the firmware (E).
no cell lock, no band lock @Northerner

If you did a simple bit of research yourself, then you would come across the Zyxel page where this is discussed in full.

Do a simple search for 'Zyxel Community 5g nr5103 Router re-sold by EE in UK'

On that page is instructions for setting a new APN so that you can get off the EE profile and links for flashing the default firmware, however you do that at your own risk of bricking if not done correctly.
