Thank you,

I'm looking at the smart 5G hub. Does this need plugging in to anything like an Ethernet port in order for it to work or does it pick up the 5G wirelessly and conencts to my devices by ethernet?

Dave

I work away from home a lot in my new job and spend 3-4 days a week staying in hotels.

I've been taking my xbox with me for a form of entertainment in my room on an evening however it cannot connect to most hotel WiFi and I end up using my mobile hotspot which is only strong enough to connect but not game consistently.

Can EE supply anything like a booster or a data device that will provide me with strong enough internet to game with?

You’ll need a home mobile router for that.

I was asking because I don't want it to connect by ethernet, I want to use it in a hotel because the WiFi is really poor.

So it sounds like this might do the job I'm looking for.

Do EE offer any kind of cooling off period in case I order it and try it and it doesn't work?

If you order by phone or online you always have a statutory cooling-off period up to 14 days after delivery to cancel your order FoC. If you order in-store you have no such "change-of-mind" right of return.
