&lt;P&gt;You can upgrade to a new SIM only plan online &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/shop/mobile/upgrade?deviceType=SIM" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;. (It can be a cheaper plan as you're out of contract)&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Downgrading the SIM only plan</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have been a customer since 2014 and currently on a rather expensive SIM plan. The contract has long ended and I have been eligible for "upgrade" for a long time now. I spend most of the year outside the UK, and instead of upgrading, I would like to downgrade my plan as low as possible. Looks like it can go somewhere around £5 for 12GB. Is there any way I can make it happen other than calling EE?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Does this mean I get a new physical SIM card as a result of this upgrade? Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
