    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Leanne&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have phoned your technical department several times and they say they can’t help me!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ours worked fine until approximately 10 weeks ago now we are getting Nat type 3.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;your team really need to sort this out. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;seeing your reply gave me hope andI am on the phone to them again right now, but they are saying they don’t have any diagnostics they can run!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I look forward to hearing from you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>PS4 NAT type 3 issue when connected to EE mobile boradband</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have recently moved to a place with no broadband so opted for a 5G sim (EE) and 5G router (ZTE mc801a).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I plan to use this primarily for gaming on my PS4, but I am currently getting NAT type 3, which is restricted. I can play games like Fifa 23, but in the game I am getting lag spikes, which I guess is due to the NAT type I am on. I have a macbook which is fine for non gaming use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried other carriers where I am on NAT type 2, but the ping is too high for smooth gameplay. EE seems to have the best ping, download and upload speeds, but I think it is the restricted NAT type that is preventing smooth gameplay.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any way I can solve this issue? Maybe calling EE to see if they can do anything about the CGNAT? Entering certain settings on my router? Using some sort of VPN?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please let me know if you need any more information I could provide.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please advise, or I think I will look to cancel my EE sim within the cooling off period.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You are probably finding yourself up against a limitation of EE's mobile network. The EE mobile network uses Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) resulting in a double NAT, which games consoles often object to, which means you don't get your own public IP address but share it with other users. So you can't be uniquely id'ed on the Net &amp;amp; therefore your LAN cannot be addressed from outside for unsolicited accesses. This is unlike fixed BB.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If this occurs there is nowt you can do to avoid it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;IMHO the EE mobile network is not really suitable for gaming.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
