Did you get anywhere with finding something suitable as I have the same issue? The router needs to be located somewhere that won't give WiFi connectivity across the whole building, so I need a WiFi extender. Ideally one that can use the same SSID as the router so moving around is seamless to users and be connected to the router via an ethernet link.

If your talking about the EE 5G Outdoor Router that I think your talking about (whats the exact Model you have?), the set up comes in 2 Parts, the outdoor Device is an integrated 5G Modem (sometimes wrongly called an Aerial) which is fed via POE via Data Cable to the Indoor Device which is your Router with Ethernet and WiFi, any additional extensions to the setup is done via the Indoor Devices WiFi or Ethernet.

That is correct.

What I am trying set up is another repeater/Wi-Fi extender, in a different part of the house, connected to the EE broadband.

jim
