      <description>&lt;P&gt;Looking to use one of the 12 month data only sim in a mobile wifi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It will be used infrequently - just needed for convenience/ emergency use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does the number get cancelled if not used after a&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;period even if its purchased for 12 months&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-&lt;STRONG&gt;chargeable&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You needed to make a&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;chargeable&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;action like making a&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;chargeable&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;call or text, topping up or buying an Add-on, not just using your pre-paid data.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Your contract number wouldn't be cancelled with infrequent use.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This does happen with pay as you go SIM cards as mentioned above, but not pay monthly SIM only deals.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;I did speak to them - account has been deleted.. I think card was used early september - they said 2 months - then another and the number is deleted, done seem to identify it's a 12 month card andxtreatcit like any other sim. Was offered&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;some data return if I bought another card - but I'd never use it. May try them again and see if I get on better with someone else!&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;It's more the principle as it would have expired late april I think anyway with only 10% data used!&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Thanks for help&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Were you paying for it every month or did you pay it all upfront? If the latter, you'll find it was a 12-month prepaid data SIM to which the PAYG rules nonsensically apply.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
