5G is, in very simple terms, an overlay to the existing 4G network.

So if there is 5G coverage in a given location, there will also be 4G service.

I was advised to buy this to WFH in new flat with no broadband. My 5g phone hotspot picks up signal and serves laptops, Netflix etc simultaneously with excellent signal.. EE coverage checker says that the 4gee mini Wi-Fi device will not work in the area. I am confused, need short term Wi-Fi but not sure whether to trust the EE agent I spoke to or the EE “coverage checker” online? HELP!
