Hi. Have a 4GEE Wifi mini device for holiday home in Cornwall. Turned device on when we arrived earlier and it has charged up. However, the red light appears on the signal indicator and when trying to connect devices state no internet.

Mobile phone is EE and has good 4G signal.

We have 75.6 GB left of 120 GB so still have data.

Have reset with button inside device (held down for 10+ seconds) and also held power button down... momentarily all lights are blue, then mail turns off and signal goes red 😞

Any advices will be gratefully received.

Are any EE mobiles working OK? They use the same network signal, that would be a good test.

If not, I'd suggest using "check status" on the online coverage tool

I haven't used a MiFi device since 2015 when I used it with an EE Sim. If I recall back then I just popped the sim in, turned it on and it worked.

I assume you don't have to enter any of the APN settings (Network settings)? They're usually found on the plastic wrapper/packet that the SIM card is shipped in, on the label, or sometimes inside the packet.

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

If you swap the SIM cards between your phone and your router, do either connect to the network?
