Can you explain why it won't work; as I am now desperate, because I live in a remote area, and the only broadband I can get is wired which gives me 1MBs upload speed if I am lucky and the 2K Eufy cameras need 2Mbs minimum, and 5Mbs for a 4k camera; I was hoping a 4G router would be the answer

At present I am on EE wired home broadband; the download speed is about 3.2Mbs and upload is 1Mbs. I live in the country and want to install four Eufy security cameras, but this need a minimum of 5Mbs upload to view the CCTV when alerted , so considering 4G home broadband, but know nothing about it and what data I will need; I have sky and download films, browse, send emails; can anyone help

Hi @Lincolnite1

Welcome to the community.

These types of devices tend to prefer fixed line broadband with a static IP. If you ordered a mobile wifi device over the phone or website from EE, you get a 14 day period to test and return if you're not happy with it for whatever reason.

Will a 4G home broadband work with the cameras, and if so how much data do they need

Not particularly well, if at all.

Not much data unless they are continuously recording.
