5GEE Router to Ethernet wall socket

I just received the 5GEE router at a new flat, which is giving me good speeds via WiFi.

However I have ethernet wall ports in every room of this flat and would like to connect an ethernet cable to a fixed device such as my PC or another router (to extend the WiFi).

The 5GEE router is on my windowsill in the kitchen, with a ethernet wall port next to it. Is it possible to receive an internet connection through my wall sockets into another room via the 5GEE router?

I have tried it with no luck. I understand that if it was a traditional modem connected to the master socket, then the ethernet ports would work. I also understand that Powerline may work but would rather use the ethernet sockets if possible.

Hi @korvington

Welcome to the community.

You can use the ethernet ports to connect your 5G router directly to other devices. You can't use it with those fixed broadband sockets, as far as I'm aware.

Depends what's inside this ethernet wall ports spaghetti. It would need at least a switch to route 1 to another.
