I have topped up but when I go to buy data I keep getting an error msg which says forbidden you do not have permission to access this resource 😐 any help much appreciated

Do you mean the http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase page? Yes, that's been Forbidden for about 2 weeks & EE hasn't yet fixed it. Try clearing your browser's cache & cookies. That might work temporarily.

Please try clearing cookies and cache and opening a new web browser, and enter add-on.ee.co.uk, does this work for you?

Hi sorry, I've just realised I never said in my original post but it's a mobile 4g WiFi box I'm trying to add to not a mobile phone

I thought it was as you've posted in the Mobile BB forum. You should still be able to text from it. Does it show an envelope LED on it?

You have an unread msg.

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then look for the SMS section.

Managed to get onto it cleared sms messages and txt to add data, got the response sorry we can't do this now try again later 😩

I am also having the same problem. How do I clear cookies etc? Has EE fixed this ‘forbidden’ add on problem yet?

No, sadly not yet. I went into an ee shop and they said they’d never heard of the tariff, only that i should sign up to a monthly repayment. My next move is to phone ee directly.
