ee mini box flashing blue lights no internet

Hi,

I left ee mini box for parents to use after i finished using it on holiday in Scotland.

Within a few days of leaving the box will only keep flashing blue lights and ipad does not see mini to connect back to internet .

My brother tried for hours and did reset also ee sent new sim card still the same.

Had to leave this a few weeks as parents getting too stressed about it .

Can someone please give me the answer to this issue as we are using this for facetime calls and so important after 3 years away because of covid here now in Australia so very hard to fix with no box in front of me.

Is it possible for them to try putting the SIM card in another device to see if it gets a mobile data connection?

Are there any known issues in the area that they're using it? You can check on our network status checker.

Hi,

Thanks Chris my father has old phone but this would be too hard for him to do.

Support told me last time it was sim card issue sent new one didn't fix issue.

When i was on the phone to support he checked the area for signal strength and any network issues and said he is in one of the best areas and no network problems.

I will call again now as too hard over the phone with old parents that have never used internet before we left gave them a crash course .
