Data Allowance after changing Sim plan

As I was out of contract I have just changed my sim plan to a new one. I was unlimited data and I’ve changed to 25 GB. Straight away my account says I am out of data and I will get some in 18 days …. How come I now have no data???

Mobile data

I have received a text saying I am at my maximum usage limit and it has been paused. It says it renews today but hasn't. Then when I log in to my EE account or says I have maximum usage left. A little confused.
