DIRECT DEBIT SET UP

I am having issues when attempting to register my bank details on the EE.co.uk/myee website for my bills to to be paid by direct debit. Each time I enter the required details the message reads that my details are not recognised. This re-occurs even when I know I have entered the correct details. Anyone else having this problem?
