Re: iPhone 5s delivery timeframes

For your info, guidelines that all should have read before posting on here

Keep conversation "On Topic" – When replying to a post, make sure you stick to the topic in the thread. If you want to discuss something else, be it constructive feedback or a personal point of view, then do so in a new thread or via Private Message. And please, no spam. It clogs up an otherwise fluid conversation (this includes saying the same thing over and over again!)

Multiple postings - Please be patient while waiting for a response to your post and refrain from posting the same message across different boards or threads. Some questions may be trickier to answer and therefore may take longer to formulate a response.

Say ‘thanks’ – If you are satisfied with an answer to your question, make sure to say ‘thank you’ by pressing ‘Accepting as a solution’. Think someone is saying some good stuff within the community? Why not give them a pat on the back in the form of a ‘kudos’. It’s all about good netiquette.

There are more guidelines but this applies to this thread.

Going off topic. Biscuits is not a phone, handing out virtual biscuits is going off topic.

Multiple postings, I saw several blank messages just to get to the 2000 mark.

Say Thank's, yes for you help on your question being answered not for biscuits that don't even exist.

Kudos are meant to be earned not given out like candy in a candy shop.

Re: iPhone 5s delivery timeframes

You don't wok for lithium so does that mean you shouldn't follow their guidelines?

I don't work for lithium either. I have a full time job and do this in some of my spare time.

Because you don't work for lithium doesn't mean your exempt from the guidelines. You must follow them thats why they are there.

Re: iPhone 5s delivery timeframes

Does this mean you'll stick to iphone 5s deliverys then and not hand out fictitious biscuits and drinks?

Re: iPhone 5s delivery timeframes

I actually feel most things people say are on topic. This is a topic about the iphone 5s delivery but I also think it's important to keep each other's spirits up and make friends when we don't have our phones and are annoyed with EE. Or is this not a 'community'?

Re: iPhone 5s delivery timeframes

Hey, firstly I'm rubbish at forums and I don't know if I've even clicked the right button to reply, but just thought I'd chip in!

Can't complain too much just yet BUT I ordered the phone one week ago today (16gb Space Grey). Got the emailing requesting to call, called them, they said all is well. Recieved an email saying 'Your phone is winging it's way to you' and thats when I noticed the '30 days delivery' bit.

So, I called again, mentioning that when I ordered the phone it was listed as 'in stock' with '3 days express delivery time'. The lady on the phone then told me that it will take up to 30 days, but 'probably more like 10 to 14 days'. So thus far I have been informed 3 different possibilites. Before all of this happened - I had gone into my local EE and asked about setting up in store, they said if I paid a £10 deposit they would have the phone within 7 days.

All of this is very misinforming, confusing and nonsensical.

Like I said, I have a conciderable amount less to be annoyed about as I have only been waiting 7 days.

I'll keep updating on my phones progress though if it helps. I would also like to add that a friend of mine who lives near me ordered the phone about a week before me a recieved it in 4 days.

PS. I don't think there should be a biscuit ban.
